2. Motorcycle lights have two functions: illumination and signaling. The illumination light is mainly used to illuminate the road ahead of the vehicle and also serves as a signal light (for overtaking at night). The signaling light is mainly used to alert other vehicles and pedestrians to yield. Therefore, the lights should be used flexibly according to the specific situation. When starting, the headlights should be turned on first to see the situation ahead of the vehicle and prevent accidents.
